Get Ready for Change

‘Change is inevitable, growth is optional’, says John C Maxwell. It’s quite simple: in life the places you live in and the people you know will inevitably change. We will change as a individuals throughout the years, but how we develop and grow is up to us. That is when our own initiative and passion come into play.

As change happens in our lives, we need to put Proverbs 3:5-6 into practice, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. Submit your way to the Lord and he will direct your path”.

This is key, my attitude will change if I choose to be changed. My attitude to change, not my achievements, will give me happiness. My attitude will make a major difference between success and failure. “Watch over your heart and guard it with all diligence for from it flow the springs of life” (Proverbs 4:23).

Joshua was chosen by God to take over the leadership from Moses. He led the people into the Promised Land. He instructed them to break camp, they had to get ready for change.

The kind of life the Israelites had lived in the wilderness was so different to what God was preparing for them. They were used to manna and would have to plant crops. They would have to fight for their inheritance.

God is preparing All Nations for a new season. We are excited about His plans for growth with our new lead elder, Meiring and Karen Kunz. As a church let us get ready to break camp, it’s time for growth.
