As a congregation, we were reminded recently by Ray Oliver that we need to forget past difficulties and challenges, and with all our might, do this: “one thing I do…forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on towards the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 3:13-14)
We at All Nations, are excited for the plans that God has for us in 2023, and do not want to miss the mark or be deflected from His purposes for us as a local church body. We need to leave behind past failures and even successes to reach for what God has for us.
In 1 Corinthians 2:9 the Passion Translation emphasises that, “things never discovered or heard of before, things beyond our ability to imagine, these are the many things God has in store for all who love Him”.
We need to passionately love Him and put Him first in our individual lives and the life of His Bride, allowing Him to cleanse us by the washing of the Word by the Spirit who applies the Word in us.
God will accomplish more than we can imagine as this comes through His strength. His work is done by the Holy Spirit’s power within us, rather than by our own human power. That inner power is not of ourselves but the supernatural workings of the Holy Spirit to transform us from strength to strength and from glory to glory into the person and character that befits a child of God, a joint heir with Christ, and a citizen of heaven.
Let us allow the Holy Spirit to teach, guide, rebuke, and correct us. He is forming and transforming, fashioning and refining us.
Our vision is to be a house of prayer for all nations, and to be a base church that reflects the glory of God. We are an apostolic prophetic church and desire to reach our city, nation and the ends of the earth.
Paul declares in Ephesians 3:20-21 “Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen”.
Let us strive together for this one thing in 2023.
