As followers of Jesus, we are positioned for purpose to be mobilised harvesters. We are an army, a community which impacts our nation. The harvest is now ripe, let us be volunteers in the end time army to fulfil the task set before us.
“The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight to the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favour” (Luke 4:18-19).
Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil. Because of His death on the Cross, He broke the power of Satan’s authority. The Kingdom of God advances with every release of His power as we obey his command to be the light and the salt of the earth.
All authority has been given to Him in heaven and on earth, and in His name, we are called to make disciples of every nation and to teach them to obey Him.
God is building a community as All Nations church to impact our nation, Namibia. We are Intentional about going forward, seeing this time as God’s opportunity to obey His strategy.
We desire to be a no name brand with only our Commander getting the glory. Paul teaches us that he planted, the others watered, but God gave the increase,” so neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God who makes things grow”” (I Cor 3:6-7). We are a team that continue to sow in tears because we will reap in joy.
We are battle ready, “I put no trust in my bow, my sword does not bring me victory; but you give us victory over our enemies, you put our adversaries to shame. In God we make our boast all day long, and we will praise your name forever” Psalm 44:6-8
Every town and community in our country is valuable to Jesus. He wants us to touch the ‘ones’ to reach the ‘many’. He wants us to be messengers of peace and bring hope to every family.
Let us ask the Lord for His Spirit’s anointing for service in His army as we proclaim the year of the Lord’s favour.
