We are living in chaotic times. Everything is being shaken: politically, economically – we are experiencing extreme heatwaves, floods and earthquakes.
God reveals His secrets in dreams and visions. In Acts 2 we read about what God will do in the end times. He will cause us to prophesy, see visions and dream dreams.
On the day of Pentecost there was a Holy Spirit urgency. Peter explained to the crowd the startling effect of the manifestation of the Holy Spirit of God by those who had been in the upper room – they had received His mandate to go and make disciples of all nations – they were speaking in tongues – the people gathered – they could understand the message in their own languages.
Psalm 37:4 says, “Delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart”. The theme that has been highlighted to us recently at the KZN Equip is, “Magnify Him, multiply us”. It all starts with our love for Jesus – in His presence we are reenergized with true motivation to see what He wants to do in these last days. He wants a great harvest.

God wants to break in with a new season of envisioning. It is a new season when we receive new foresight on how we can be involved in His end time plan.
King Nebuchadnezzar had a dream and Daniel had the answer. God gave him the key to interpret God’s plan. Pharaoh had a dream and Joseph had the interpretation and strategy to save the nation of Egypt from famine. As God’s people we have a mandate to interpret the dreams of a confused world who have lost their purpose and identity.
“The community we create in the Spirit is not just for ourselves. It is also for those who need God whether they’re seeking Him or not. The church is the only power on earth that exists for the benefit of its non-members!” (Graham Cooke).
Our future is not in our past, we need to dream with God. God wants to visit His church again and give us new revelation of what He desires, to go and make disciples.
A desire to have a dream…a desire to receive vision…a desire for the nations…therefore let us as a church dream His dream and fulfil His mandate in these exciting times.
